As a mom, our day is filled with many responsibilities that at times we forget to truly take a moment for ourselves. Sometimes I take this break, but then I do chores at the same time… like preparing my dinner, folding laundry, or even edit photos. It seems like a good multitasking break but if I’m going to be honest, at the end of the day, I truly feel drained from everything. We don’t need much time to rejuvenate, so that’s why I want to make a reminder to take your break without any other tasks in mind!
I’m a stay at home mom, but that doesn’t mean I’m staying at home doing nothing. It’s anything but that! I love taking a full thirty to maybe even an hour to rejuvenate. One thing for sure that I always have on my break is coffee. My latest favorite coffee is this Mama Java called the Pack Leader which is a dark roast. I am a strong coffee kind of girl and LOVE that bold flavor. This coffee doesn’t only taste good, but I love everything they stand for. We are a multitasking, pack leader of the little ones. We make sure things run smoothly! I own a keurig and I think it’s one of the older models because it comes with a reusable coffee cup. I love that because I can drink my favorite coffee without having another coffee make. Also, my latest most favorite coffee mug is this glass mug by Mom Culture because honestly, we SO basic.
One other thing I do while I have my coffee is to watch at least an episode of my favorite TV shows. I have many I love to watch and it’s what I find most enjoyable while I have a little time for myself. We know a little bit about Mom guilt don’t we? Well, this isn’t the time for it because you, my Mama friends, deserve to enjoy your time. Don’t think about the other responsibilities that is waiting for you because that will just drive your mom guilt meter off the charts. Take a moment, enjoy it, recharge, then get back to your Mama duties! I guarantee you will feel refreshed, ready, and most of all, loved. We love and love and love and give it freely, but don’t forget to give that love to yourself, too. Share with me your break time routine and if you are a coffee or a tea drinker? Thanks for visiting my blog and until next time!
