The snow and freezing temperature has disappeared from the Washington state, and that can only mean one thing – lots of rain. It has been raining for days on end, but today was sunny. Okay well not that sunny, but the sun shined through and it wasn’t raining. Mimi peeked through the back sliding door and saw the beautiful flowers giving our otherwise simple backyard some color and life.
There were beautiful purples, whites, and yellow flowers that she wanted to look at, and pick out of course! It was so nice to be able to go outside and just enjoy the beautiful things that God has created. A day like today only calls for a matching shirt, right? Spring is the time for color and beauty, so I just had to dress her up in pretty little flowers herself. I am so in love with pretty and classic clothing on my girls, its absolutely beautiful. They probably don’t look as well on me, but it looks absolutely darling on them! The half sleeves only tells the season is shifting. It’s not as cold, but not quite hot.
Little girls have the sweetest heart and filled with such joy. Flower picking and taking a quick little walk gave her the biggest smile a mama always dream of. She babies these flowers like she knows it’s so delicate! I love how this shirt has a little pocket. It wasn’t a surprise to me she wanted to put the flowers in there from time to time.
We couldn’t put on a pretty shirt without a bow to match, right? I absolutely love this elegant bow. It is so neutral in color and style that it could be casually worn or dressed up! The beautiful gold center makes this look so timeless and the monochrome colors of the bow would easily match any color or style of clothing. I always find that a simple clip of hair accessory compliments a look so well.
It got a little chilly out, the sun doesn’t last too long here… and this outfit looks so great even with a touch of edge. This biker jacket is totally the opposite of her look, but it fits right in. The black and the gold zipper even matches so well with her bow! We were able to stay out for a little bit longer just enough time for her to explore some more. She was able to find some more flowers, pick them, and bring them back home. This purple one ended up being her favorite because it reminded her of Rapunzel, she said. What a great day, and I’m so blessed to be able to spend this time with her. Has flowers bloomed in your area yet?
