Elf on the shelf is a fun month long activity to do for the kids, but it can be a bit cumbersome to think of new things for the Elf. What I find most enjoyable is seeing the kids reactions to what the silly elf is doing! This year, our elf, Sandy, arrived in his little sled into a snowy ground of a white Christmas.
The next day he found his way down our fireplace mantel with a little string.
An Elf can never have too many snacks, can they? After all, watching children all day can be exhausting. I feel ya, Sandy. He found the kids’ ZoLi water bottle and snack pods!
Sandy is a little adventurer with all the climbing and all. Good thing our staircase made it easier for him to go upstairs.
Can you even pay attention to what Sandy is doing? Wow, this food and snack pantry needs much organizing. Ha! I hope you and your family are having so much fun with this year’s Elf On The Shelf. My kids sure are enjoying it. Thank you so much for visiting and until next time!
I’m loving all of these cute ideas!! Really gets me excited to start it up with my kids next year. Hopefully I can be just as creative!
I haven’t done elf on the shelf yet- I think next year will be time to start it- this year would have been the right year but I held off to long. oops.
We’ve been doing elf on the shelf for years now. My boys love it, and I have fun with it too, but we’re definitely starting to run out of fun ideas for our elf!
