This past Friday was the Father Daughter Dance hosted by our church and I was so excited for my girls because it was their first time! It was also kind of a last minute thing but I had to put my mama shopping game on and I have to say I was pretty happy with what we’ve found!
Keilani’s dress has a gradient effect from blush to gold. I actually didn’t notice when i bought it and realized that the gold shoes we found matched the dress so perfectly. Kohl’s has really great sales! This dress was originally around seventy dollars, but it was on sale for twenty! Can you say deals? I get worried sometimes whenever the dress doesn’t come with a cardigan because it’s pretty tough to find one that matches the dress. Luckily, I caught this gem in the back of many random dresses. It’s very lightweight which is perfect since Keilani always says she gets hot easily!
Look at the beautiful gradient of her dress! Anyway, My girls doesn’t really wear jewelry that much and the more I think about it, I don’t either! When I do, it’s just simple earrings. The most that I wear are charm bracelets because they’re customizable and can be easily personalized to our own style. This one that Keilani is wearing is a Sailor Moon charm bracelet. that was gifted by our friend for her birthday!
Mileina’s dress is a peachy pink shade with a white cardigan to match! It actually has pearls sown on them which looks so cute on her! We found this dress at Ross Dress for some serious deals at $16.99. I love bargain shopping because kids grow out of their clothes so fast! Since it’s cold here in Washington, the girls both wore tights or knee socks to keep them warm.
The girls requested wavy hair which was good because we were running out of time before they had to leave! I used my hot tools curling wand, of course. They wore the same headbands and they were also from Kohl’s on sale for four dollars! It was a set with four other headbands but these flowery white ones are definitely a match made in heaven for both of the girls’ outfits.
Last but not least, the shoes was the ones that completes the whole look! The bunny ballerina shoes we amazingly found at target! I am still surprised that they had these because Mileina loves bunnies. From her stuffed animals, to her pillows, bed sheets, boots and now she has dressy bunny shoes, too! I love target and it seems like they love bunnies too since we found most of our bunny attire from there. The straps on the shoes are rose gold which totally matched her dress! Let me talk about last minute shopping, mamas. I originally already had Keilani’s shoes ready and purchased only to find out that it was too big! Ugh, mom fail. Luckily a quick trip to walmart, we found the best gold shoes that matched her dress at a really great price. Seriously, five dollar shoes! WOOT! It also had memory foam in it, awesome!
I truly loved seeing my girls all dressed up for the dance. Not only because they enjoyed dressing up once in a while, but they’re spending such a precious time with their dad! These girls are truly loved and I’m so thankful that God gave me such a loving man who can love his daughters and treat them like such princesses! I’m so grateful for our church to host such great events because these are great memories that we can always look back on. Did your hubby go on a father daughter dance recently? What did your daughter(s) outfits look like? Thank you so much for visiting my blog and until next time!
