I love multi-functional items, especially if it tends to a mama’s life? Yes, yes, and yes! The Hamax Outback is one of those things in life that you just need. If you are a family who loves to go jogging, go biking, and simply be outdoors… this is a must have! I’ve owned bike trailers in my life but none compare to this one.
It’s made very beautifully: the design, the quality, and the ease of use is why I love it so much. The Hamax Outback is three in one multi sport use: Bike trailer, jogging stroller, or simply a stroller.
This outback has a very spacious storage in the back. It has two zippers on each side and has top velcro closure to ensure nothing falls out during biking! I always carry a bag for the kids ranging from this mini backpack to a regular size backpack. Helmets can be stored here while everyone is taking a break or if the kids no longer want to bike!
I also really appreciate the size of the storage because I always bring my camera and tripod when we have a family outing. Truly love how I can fit ALL that here!
On the inside of the Hamax, it has two stretchy mesh pockets to store snacks. If my kids are snack monsters, I’m sure your kids are snack monsters. Simply store a snack pouch here with their favorite things to munch on! It’s especially helpful if they decide they want a snack while you are riding your bike or jogging – you don’t have to stop!
The bar handle is adjustable as well which is really awesome because I can adjust it to my height or my husband’s height! It will ensure comfort for both of us. The color of the Hamax Outback bike trailer that we have is Red/Charcoal and it matches our bikes really nicely! No worries, if this isn’t the color you like: they have three other colors available like Red/Gray/White, Orange/Gray/White, and a new color coming soon Navy/Black/White!
There are two covers built in on the Hamax. First is the black mesh and a clear cover just in case it starts to sprinkle or gets super duper windy! Easily zip one or both covers and last but not least on the top is a visor you can use to block the sun out of the kids face! There is also a FULL bike trailer rain cover for the Hamax and it will cover everything so that the kids stay dry for long periods of time in the rain. You never know when the weather starts to change on, right?
The jogger kit is sold separately, but I love how the front wheel can EASILY can be changed. You simply just unlock the button, and pull the wheel out. The one that’s shown in this post is the wheel for jogging! I have a full video that shows unboxing, first impression, close up features, HOW-TO set it up, and demo on every feature.
