Mom Solo With Jujube Be Light

Picture

Even though all of us moms can be super busy and surrounded by our kids most of the time, there are those few times when we go out for a cup of coffee by ourselves! Okay, maybe shopping too… but who’s keeping track? The Jujube Be Light is really a great choice of bag for a day out. The two front pockets are super handy for things you need quickly such as phone, wallet, and a water bottle. My wallet is actually behind the phone if you didn’t see the black on black non-contrast style I have going today, haha! I also have a Paci pod on the side hooked through the loop of the bag to store my earbuds and phone charger USB cable. Shout out to Palette from the tokidoki characters for making my bag so kawaii!

When I don’t have the kids with me, my bag is of course going to be much lighter. I only have my daily planner, an iPad, and my donutella’s sweet shop makeup pouch. I love packing my bag this way because it just works no matter what or where I go. If I’m going shopping, I’ll have a roomy tote to stuff small things I buy! If I end up going to a coffee shop, I’ll have my iPad to blog. Daily planner is a must for moms because it just keeps track of everything. I do keep appointments on my phone as well, but I just love having a daily planner on hand for everything and anything.

If you blog with your iPad, this Smart Keyboard is A MUST. Prior to this, I was using a blue tooth connected keyboard that failed terribly after less than a month. Not only did it just stop working all together, but sometimes the letters wouldn’t coincide with the keyboard that resulted in numerous typos. Once I bought this Smart Keyboard, it was a smooth ride. Yes, it is expensive but I think it is so, so, so worth it. This does not need to be charged which is pretty darn amazing because I don’t like thinking of how much battery life is left when I’m blogging. It’s not blue tooth connected, but it connects to the iPad itself. As you can see from my picture above, the keyboard can turn into an iPad cover when you are done with your work! So lightweight and slim! Buy Smart Keyboard here.

The zippered pocket on the inside of the bag is such a useful compartment in this tote. I LOVE keeping my pill box, checkbook, and pencil case in here. I started putting my keys in this zippered pocket as well when I’m just out on my own. I don’t know about you, but whenever I am out by myself running errands I feel super discombobulated. I have no clue why, but I am much more clumsy and forgetful of where I put my things when the kids are not with me. With that said, car keys in the zippered pocket will never get lost or hidden under anything.

Last but not least, my outfit has to be comfortable. I am all about cozy! I love wearing my Loved By Hannah and Eli mama bear camp shirt. I paired it with a light cream bomber jacket because Washington is beyond cold. I know you can’t see the pants I have on in this picture, but no surprise it is black Lularoe leggings..How do you pack your bag when you’re just out on your own? Let me know in the comments below!

Yes! those covers are so amazing for public toilets. They’re huge! But you have to throw them away and it’s not flushable. I carry at least 3 of them in my bag. You are so welcome!
