The Jungle

Yesterday, EZ and I had a little one on one time and we went to Lime Berry Frozen Yogurt. I must say that is probably his favorite place to have a little frozen dessert, he always runs in there to get his little cup and starts telling me which ones he wants. The lady who worked there saw his cup and asked, “Wow, are you going to eat all that?” Hehe! I usually try to limit the kids with ice cream and sugars but they had great choices like rasberry sorbet, strawberry, and even coconut! He chose rasberry sorbet, chocolate, and strawberry cake flavored yogurt with lots and lots of strawberry and kiwi! I had rasberry sorbet and coconut which was so…. GOOD!
I always have so much fun having a one on one with the kids, I think it means a lot to them. Having three kids, it is sometimes really difficult to give the same amount of attention all the time so I count on the one on one outings! Even if it is something small like going to a frozen yogurt or to the store, it means the world to them. No sharing, no waiting for their turn, no feeling left out! They get a recharge and the assurance that they are always important and always loved. I especially think it’s very important for EZ because he’s the middle child! The oldest always gets the first experience with everything like school and school events, and the baby is…. Well, the baby. EZ is the only boy, and I get so much joy seeing him smile.

Afterwards, we did a ninja turtle 3D puzzle which was SO hard, oh my goodness.

Today, the family went to kids club fun and fitness before Keilani had to go to school in the afternoon. We were pretty pleasantly surprised that they had a pool, a preschool and gymnastics in there too! Today’s plan was to play in the jungle, a really huge indoor playground that had six slides, amazing mazes that the kids definitely enjoyed.

There were different types of slides that ranged from little ones, waving slide, and a short, long, and winding tunnel slides. All of them were fun and exciting, but the long black tunnel slide was a little scary! I thought it was really fast as an adult, I went with EZ. Keilani went by herself and she didn’t realize how fast it was, so she got really scared at the speed and cried 🙁 I understood very well what she was feeling because I felt it too! Yikes! She got over it though because her dad asked if she would like to go again with him this time and she was fine!

There was an area called the ball pit where we can shoot the balls towards the bottom floor. I thought that was really neat because whoever was on the bottom can shoot the balls back up using the machine that suctions all the balls. Even Mimi had a blast putting the balls in the gun and attacking papa! I think Keilani did a few of those too, excellent targeting!

We were there from 9:30 am, so we had to eat out for lunch but we decided not to eat at the place. The kids had freeze drinks that were so horrible and too sweet, they didn’t even want it. Usually kids don’t mind sweet things! Next time, we know to skip it! We ended up going to burgerville then dropped KC off to her school. What an eventful morning we had, and I am so glad we were able to have so much fun as a family today. I’m sure Keilani will be telling stories to her classmates at school. ☺️
