Vanity Table Decor For Tweens!

Ahh, this phase of almost reaching teenage years… the age of tweening! My oldest daughter is not yet a woman haha, but she sort of need the necessities of one! She initially had so much random stuff in her closet that I felt like I needed to create a vanity area for her to get ready every morning for school. I’m not one to spend money for an actual vanity table because those are insanely expensive! Well maybe not insanely, but pretty expensive. I found a regular table for this and it works just as well.

This table is by Project 62 called the Paulo Basic Desk and it is what it is… a basic desk. I think it’s really nice because of the white wash color. I found it at Target of course! It looks very minimalist and love how it’s sort of a rustic style. *This post contains affiliate links!

This stool is the cutest because of its faux fur style hehe. It’s definitely girly! I found this at hobby lobby and as always they have 30% discount. I walked in one day HOPING to find something for her stool and lo and behold wooo woo hoo. Literally the only thing I bought that day.

We also added a lengthy mirror next to the vanity table so she can check her outfit before going downstairs. This was actually in her closet but I think it looks nicer here! I’m pretty sure this would help as she gets older because I think she’ll use curling irons and what not, haha.

This table mirror is one of those flippy ones where the other side is the magnifying mirror. I think I might have found this at Ross , but I’m sure you can find it on amazon or even Target! She put those cute hello kitty glasses on the top and I think it looks super cute.

The DIY mason jar is a really nice addition for her table. It makes it even more feminine, right? We chose the color salmon pink to match her room theme color and I found the faux flowers from hobby lobby!

Hi. Have you met me? I have Rae Dunn all over the house. Okay, well not all over but almost all over. My daughter ended up liking these too, well because it’s soooo cute! We saw these at TJ Maxx and it was perfect for her table to store her “everyday” stuff. I say everyday but it’s not really everyday because she doesn’t really wear nail polish everyday, haha. The lipgloss and lip balm … YES! And isn’t the bracelet holder so cute? Aghh, I don’t even have these. Her vanity area looks much cuter than my vanity table setup.

This desk has a drawer but it is a very shallow one. You can’t really store big and bulky things in there. She has a stash pouch filled with bows and headbands, lotion, brush, vaseline, and random toys it seems like.

By the way, my tween girl of course still likes super cute things so we had to add a Squeezamals stuffed animal behind her Hello pillow! I never knew to even put pillows at random places like this, but you know, it looks pretty nice and makes every place just look cozy!

What do you think of this tween-style vanity table setup? It sure does make me feel older knowing that I even have a tween. We enjoyed putting this area together and we hope that this setup idea helped you and your daughter find ideas to set up your own! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and until next time!
