Today we decided it was time to do some yard work. We haven’t had the time to do it because the weather has been on and off rainy, but today was about 80 degrees and sunny all throughout the day. We have a big yard, so it is no joke! My thighs hurt so bad from pulling all the weeds. The front yard is “almost” done! My husband and I had three little helpers and it was really cute to see how proud they were for being so helpful. Mimi kept coming to us to show what she had cleaned up
Afterwards, I went ahead to the playground to pull more of the annoying weeds and I’m still not done. Although it looks ten times better, these things just grow so fast! He sprayed the area with some concoction that he brewed up, so it will kill more the ones that were difficult to pull. It was definitely a long day, but a very productive one at that. I love days like this where the family just does one thing together!Yesterday was a nice night for Zach and I, he planned this idea that we would watch stars on the roof of our house. It was a surprise at first, because he asked me to put a sweater on because it was going to be cold. I was like, “What is he up to?” He led me outside and I see small candles on the floor towards the side of the house. Now, I have a fear of heights, so that was an accomplishment for me! Seriously my heart was thumping like crazy I honestly thought I was going to slip and fall. Climbing the ladder wasn’t bad but the transition from the ladder to the roof was CRAZY. Well it’s crazy for somebody who’s afraid of heights. But I did it! We stayed up there for about ten minutes, man it was cold lol but he brought a blanket up there. After that we came back down and watched the stars and there were two shooting stars that I missed. We were watching the satellites and planes, talked about life, the bible, and beliefs. It was very sweet and it’s nice to live out in the country!
